Hear me when I say, Almighty God hears His children when they cry out! Believer's authority is real, and because of Jesus, we are seated in heavenly places at the right hand of the Father, and everything is under our feet. The power of life and death is in our tongue, and all of heaven will back you when you lose the truth of the Word and come into agreement with the will of God over a situation.
I was interceding for a loved one this afternoon who has been deeply struggling with confusion for the past several days. While going to WAR and professing the promises of God over their life, thunder roared, lightning struck my house, and the electricity went out and came back on! This family member wasn't even home and had no idea I was praying for them. A few hours later, I saw them, and the struggle was over, the torment gone, and they were different. The ropes of confusion that had bound them only hours before were broken! The terror and sorrow that tried to overtake them fled! Peace was on their face and they told me I need not worry anymore. They were going to be fine, and the heaviness and confusion had lifted.
If you are contending for something in your life or standing in the gap for someone else, keep standing, keep believing, keep professing the promises of the Almighty over them. There is a time for all things, and as Believers, there are times when we are to hold the shield of prayer and cover those we love, but there is also a time to pick up our sword and GO TO WAR! Life is messy, and the results of prayer don't always manifest immediately. I don't care what it looks like in the natural. I can assure you with all confidence that angels are on assignment on your behalf and encamp around you. There are more for you than against you, and victory is yours. So, come boldly to the throne room, on earth as it is in heaven, and SHINE your light!
Glory to God, for He is merciful and protects those who have faith in Him. He took the keys of death and hell and saves us, wipes our tears, and keeps our feet from stumbling! We need not try to do anything on this earth alone. He is with us! Praise the King of Kings who loves His children with a fierce and jealous love and to whom every knee bows!

Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! Death wrapped its ropes around me; the terrors of the grave overtook me. I saw only trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord: “Please, Lord, save me!” How kind the Lord is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! The Lord protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me. Let my soul be at rest again, for the Lord has been good to me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And so I walk in the Lord’s presence as I live here on earth!
