We must sheer up our foundation. We must FORTIFY our hearts and minds. The Lord is calling us to repentance, discipline, and self-control to protect us. The time is now. Today is the day of salvation, and it requires us to take up our cross and follow Him. This is not a metaphor, nor is it a one-time prayer. Those who love Him will choose to obey Him. It requires laying down the desires of our flesh and nailing them to the tree.
Violence and destruction are at the door, and war is knocking. Heed the warning of the Lord and get your house in order. FORTIFY the walls of your life by fully submitting to the Lord in every area, leave no door open to the enemy, leave no crack for pestilence to enter, fill it with the blood of Yeshua. He alone is our refuge, strength, and place of safety. He rescues those who trust in His name.
So, tear down every altar built for false gods and idol worship. Flip the tables of religion and tear down every stronghold in your mind now. Rip away the pride from within your heart and sow seeds of forgiveness if you desire a harvest that does not lead to famine. Learn to hear His voice in the stillness before the distractions overwhelm and overtake you.
Obedience is your defense!
Obedience leads to the filling of your storehouse, the victory over your enemies, and the protection against the terrors of the night. Under the shadow of the Almighty is where you find REST.
