Work Out Your Salvation

Work Out Your Salvation

August 4, 2022

We are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling! You can NOT live like the devil and expect to go to heaven. You can NOT serve two masters. There are too many part-time "Christians" expecting full-time benefits. Jesus said He will vomit the lukewarm out of His mouth and that many will be turned away because He never knew them. He is speaking to those with a false sense of security who have believed the lie that their eternity is sealed by casually reciting a prayer once without practicing true repentance—those who lack a fear for the Lord and willingly sin by refusing to kill the flesh. True believers take up their cross, die to self, and bear good fruit. Just because someone refuses to like, accept or agree with this does NOT make it any less true.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

Philippians 2:12

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Matthew 6:24

So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

Revelation 3:16

And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Matthew 7:23

He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.

Proverbs 14:2

Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

II Corinthians 7:9‭-‬10

When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

Mark 8:34

You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Matthew 7:16‭-‬20
