Watchman Sound The Alarm

Watchman Sound The Alarm

June 28, 2022

Watchmen, warn the people the enemy has deceived them and prowls like a lion waiting to devour them. Tell those scattered and gone astray to return to the sheepfold under their Shepherd's protection, for I shut the mouth of lions. Watchmen, sound the alarm, for the Kingdom of God is near, and soon the trumpets will sound. The King is returning for a spotless Bride without blemish or compromise. Tell them to robe themselves in righteousness and purity for my name's sake, for they are royalty. Watchmen shout from the rooftops; the great separation of the wheat from the tares and sheep from the goats is at hand. Time is short, and they can not serve two masters, for they must choose. Tell my disciples to stand firm in truth and never waiver from the Living Word. The beginning of wisdom is to fear me alone, for the opinion of man is not their concern. Let them not be caught unaware as if I were a thief. Direct them to fill their lamps with oil and watch. I will bless those who anticipate my arrival.

When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm to warn the people. Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action, it is their own fault if they die. They heard the alarm but ignored it, so the responsibility is theirs. If they had listened to the warning, they could have saved their lives. But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible for their deaths.’ “Now, son of man, I am making you a watchman for the people of Israel. Therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for me. If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths. But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself.

Ezekiel 33:3‭-‬9
