This life is a battlefield. When it looks like the enemy's troops have surrounded you on all sides, and they are closing in, look up, for I am there. Do not fear or be dismayed, for I will rescue you. When the earth shakes and explosions are at every turn, seek me, and I will hide you under my wings and shield you from all harm. I will uphold you with my right hand. Listen to me. Hear my voice, for I will provide you with the battle plans. I am your superior commanding officer, reigning victorious in every battle and every war. With me, you cannot lose. I see the enemy's tactics, I know their plans, and I am never surprised. I send forth lightning into their camps, scattering and shattering them. I will contend with those that contend with you, and I will judge them. I am your watchman and will be the one to sound the alarm. I will warn you of every evil scheme, and nothing will be too hard for you. I shoot your arrows and rout them; you cannot miss. I tell you the truth, no matter what the battle looks like, no matter how impossible it may seem, know that your God fights for you. I have sent out and assigned fierce warrior angels to go before you and stand beside you with swords drawn and shields in hand. I am your rear guard and will always cover you from behind. You will not be exposed, and there will be no casualties on my watch. Do not allow your emotions and imaginations to deceive or overwhelm you; the battle is already won. I will heal every wound and restore every scar from previous battles you tried to fight alone, but with me, you are more than a conqueror, more than an overcomer. I will continue to strategically position you up on a hill and be your strong tower and mighty fortress. I will continue to place divine soldiers along your path to march with you in one accord, and if you get tired, they will help to provide strength and sharpen your iron. Do not get weary; I am with you. I have trained your hands for war and your fingers for battle; you are equipped with every weapon needed to win. Now, keep listening to my voice, obeying, seeking my face, and fighting the good fight. You cannot lose; I am with you.
