If you have the gift of discerning of spirits and are still learning how to wield it well, it can feel overwhelming at times. I'm here to tell you that you're not alone. ASK the Holy Spirit what HE wants you to do with the information He allows you to see, know, hear, and feel. He is the greatest teacher and bearer of all truth. ASK Him to give you a balance in the spirit realm and start expecting to see and experience heavenly things as well as the other things you may have grown accustomed to. Do NOT neglect time in the secret place. His presence and your praise removes the garment of heaviness that can often accompany this gift. To be effective in this gift, you must be confident in your authority in Christ. Learn to be a thermostat that changes the atmosphere in a room with the transformative power of the Holy Spirit and not a thermometer that is easily moved by what is around you.
