Take A Seat!

Take A Seat!

Ministers & Prophets: TAKE A SEAT!
As ministers in the body of Christ, it is important to know when we need to take a seat. There is a season for everything under heaven including sitting in the presence of the Lord to receive healing and restoration. If you are a minister or consider yourself called to prophesy as a mouthpiece of the Lord, do yourself a favor and take a seat and self-reflect while using discernment. Take time to evaluate your own heart before opening your mouth. We will answer for every idle word we speak and with position comes great responsibility. We will be held to a higher standard of accountability and must fear the Lord. There is a fine line between a prophet and a divinator and accuracy is not the deciding factor, heart posture is. A prophet with unhealed soul wounds can easily and unknowingly taint the word of the Lord.
You may be positioned but have you gone through the crushing hard process to be correctly postured?
There is no shame in sitting for a season. As a matter of fact, it shows true wisdom and maturity. It is necessary to be effective and trusted by the Lord. There will be many leaders removed from their platforms because they chose to skip the process. Do not let it be you. Humble yourself and if necessary, TAKE A SEAT.

For everything, there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT
And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.
Matthew 12:36 NLT
Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly. Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.
James 3:1-2 NLT
Lord, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I don’t concern myself with matters too great or too awesome for me to grasp. Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself, like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother’s milk. Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me. O Israel, put your hope in the Lord— now and always.
Psalms 131:1-3 NLT
