Run The Race

Run The Race

July 26, 2022

If the devil can not take you out, he will try to wear you out. Do not become weary in doing good. Remember, God himself fights for you. This race is not for the weak or lukewarm. For narrow is the path. If you stumble, ask Jesus to pick you up. Dust yourself off, keep running, and FINISH STRONG. Now is not the time to get distracted or give up. The reward is too great, and you have come too far. The crown of life awaits you at the finish line, and you run from a place of VICTORY in Christ. Let go of anything that hinders the will of God in your life, and RUN! RUN like your eternity depends on it!

They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing, you will change them, and they will be discarded. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.

Psalms 102:26‭-‬27

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Deuteronomy 3:22

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Matthew 7:13‭-‬14

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

Hebrews 12:1

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

2 Timothy 4:7‭-‬8

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

James 1:12

They charge like warriors; they scale walls like soldiers. They all march in line, not swerving from their course.

Joel 2:7

Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Matthew 24:12‭-‬13

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

1 Corinthians 9:24‭-‬27
